Intensive Beginners Jewellery Short Course
If you're time-poor like me, then this intensive beginners jewellery making short- course is for you. It's held over two-full-days during the week or on a weekend. You’ll work at your own pace while learning the fundamentals of jewellery making.

So rather than attending classes week-after-week, you'll learn it all in two days. No previous experience is necessary. This is the only Intensive Beginners Jewellery Short Course in of its type in Australia. We regularly have students from across Australia and overseas attending this one-of-a-kind class.

A $200 deposit is required to secure your place. The balance of $1150 is payable at least week before the workshop. You can pre-pay your balance in instalments. Please email Bec to arrange. You can see some of the pieces of jewellery made by students in previous courses. This course doesn't cover lost wax, sand casting or stone setting. These are offered as separate workshops.

These Matt wooden ring mandrels have been designed for working with hard and soft waxes. It supports and holds your wax, so you can use both hands for working on your piece.

This is the mandrel we use in the Pod Studio during our Lost Wax Silver Ring Workshops. This product is also available as part of the Ultimate Lost Wax Jewellery Tool Kit and the Ultimate Lost Wax Jewellery Tool Kit (minus tools from the Premium Kit). This mandrel can also be used with the Matt wax gun.

Made from hardwood, the smooth highly polished surface is perfect for stone setting in wax, or any application where you need to be able to keep your piece in place without needing to hold it with your hands.

The wooden mandrel turns 360° allowing you to work on the whole outside of the ring. You can stop the mandrel from moving by placing some soft wax of Blu Tack between the mandrel and the metal stand.

We are actively working with our manufacturers to help reduce the plastic packaging used in the products we buy. We’re trying our hardest to reduce, remove or reuse plastic. We try to reuse cardboard boxes, so your order might arrive in a box that has been used before. We also use new boxes made from recycled materials that we encourage you to use again.

Our packing tape, padded mailing satchels, packing peanuts and bubble wrap are biodegradable and compostable. Wherever possible, we use biodegradable zip lock bags.
