"Retired service dogs are those dogs that have helped serve under various departments of the police or army. Service dogs are trained for their respective jobs from an early age. They start their training when they are two months old and their service can last up to 8-10 years. Previously, these dogs were euthanized. However, a new rule by the Supreme Court ended this in 2015. At VOSD, we have adopted service dogs after their retirement from multiple cities and various government units. We look after their retirement needs and help them live the rest of their life properly. Learn more about us by visiting our site. "
