The SEED Male Mentoring Program, an outreach initiative of EE Jenkins Ministries, is presenting the Off-Broadway production Black Angels Over Tuskegee as part of its Black History Month observance at the Patriots Theater at the War Memorial. Guided by the theme “Heal The City – Fighting For Our Youth,” the presentation highlights the moving story of six men who rise above isolation and discrimination to forge a powerful brotherhood and become one of the most respected African American fighter groups of the World War II era. Their journey offers a message of unity, resilience, and hope that speaks directly to the challenges facing the city of Trenton today.
To further extend this message to local youth, the SEED Male Mentoring Program is collaborating with the administration at Trenton Central High School’s main campus to arrange a free morning matinee for students. By bringing this inspiring production into the school environment, SEED aims to encourage meaningful dialogue, promote positive decision-making, and emphasize the value of mentorship and community support in building a stronger and more empowered future for Trenton’s young people.
