J.D. Salcido is a highly experienced Wireline Engineer with over a decade in the oilfield services industry. Currently at Summit Directional Solutions, Inc., he specializes in gyroscopic surveying, data interpretation, wireline operations management, and equipment maintenance. Known for his quick problem-solving skills and strong customer service focus, he consistently enhances service quality in high-demand environments.
Before joining Summit, Salcido played a key role at Apollo Perforators, where he led multiple projects and cultivated a collaborative, team-first culture. He holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from New Mexico State University and maintains a broad range of industry certifications, including NCCCO, Radiation Safety, First Aid/CPR, and a Class A CDL.
His technical strengths lie in Cased Hole Logging and gyroscopic surveying, backed by a hands-on approach and a dedication to continuous learning—qualities that make him a respected and reliable professional in the field.
