THE STEPPING STONES TO HARMONY WORKBOOK BY REBECCA LANG

I’m Rebecca Lang, founder of Essential Home Organization LLC. As a member of the sandwich generation, I balanced caring for my family and transitioning my parent into assisted living. My experience inspired me to create flexible, efficient organization plans, helping others manage their

WORKSHEETS
Digital Photographs

Most of us have digital photos stored on more than one device. This is a complex category that can be time
consuming to organize. However, once you create a written outline, you can create electronic folders in the
same format. Once organized, you will be able to enjoy looking at special occasions on a device or easily
create photo books.

Method A: Sort by date, then by topic Photos Folder
1. 2015 Trips
a. 2015 Disney Trip
b. 2015 Beach Trip
2. 2015 Celebrations
a. 2015 Birthdays
b. 2015 July 4th
c. 2015 Thanksgiving

Method B: Sort by topic, then by date Photos Folder
1. Chris and Bobby
a. 2015 Sledding
b. 2015 Beach trip
c. 2016 First day of school
2. Bailey
a. 2015 Puppy pictures
b. 2016 Obediance class

STEP 1: BACK UP YOUR FILES! Use an external
hard drive or keep a back-up online.
STEP 2: Create an outline on paper. Then use the
outline to create electronic folders in the same
format.
STEP 3: Move digital images into their designated
folders. You can move all 2015 Trips into one
folder first and then create folders for individual
trips.
STEP 4: BACK UP AGAIN! Label the folder
“Revised Photo Folders” or other name to indicate
the photos are organized.
STEP 5: Consider making physical copies of your
favorite photos to enjoy each day

Expense Tracker

Use this worksheet to create a monthly budget. Make photocopies or scan it into your computer and print a
page for each month. Then create a file folder or use a 3-ring binder to monitor your spending. Use a copy to
create a year-end summary by adding the 12 months of income together. Do this for savings, expenses, and
credit card debt

Health & Exercise

  1. PREPARE: Print this plan and hang it on the refrigerator to help you make better nutritional choices.
    2. SET A HEALTH GOAL: “I am committed to having more strength and energy.”
    3. MAKE A PLAN: Write in an activity for each day of the week. Add your time, distance, or other goal.
    4. EXECUTE: Check off the box after completing the activity each day.
    5. ADJUST: Change your plans to increase your duration or activity. Changing your exercise routine will also
help to keep it fresh and provide greater challenge.
    6. ELECTRONICS: Apps may be useful if you already rely on them. However, having the Health and Exercise
Worksheet on the refrigerator can help you stay on track. It is very easy to dismiss electronic reminders.
    7. FOCUS ON MINDSET: Focus on wellness, health, increased stamina, increased strength, or your favorite
outfit rather than a long list of things you think you should avoid. It is a daily lifestyle choice to prioritize mental,
    emotional, and physical well being.
    8. MEASURE: Make one copy of the worksheet on page 30 for each week. Keep completed documents in a
folder or 3-ring binder to track your progress. Include a copy of this page at the front of your folder to keep
your important health goals in mind. You can achieve large goals by completing small daily tasks.

Medication & Vitamins Schedule
A written Medication and Vitamin Plan will help you stay on schedule. It will also make filling a pill sorter faster
and easier if you use one. Having a written schedule in your cabinet will also help medical personnel if you
have a medical emergency.
Since every individual’s needs vary, it may be helpful to create a document on your computer that you can print
weekly. Use the chart below as a template or if it works for you as is, just make a number of photocopies after
you have filled it out. Also, consider using 3x5 notecards to create lists.

Chores

Assign chores by placing an initial on the line.
Check the box when the job is complete.
Photocopy or scan and print this page to create
a chores worksheet for each week. Post it where
your family has easy access to it.

Room Planning

If you need to make some changes around your home, this worksheet
will guide you through the process of creating a more efficient living
space. Start by completing the Room Planner below and focus first on
each room’s uses or functions. Having incompatible activities in the
same room such as school work and video games is fuel for ongoing
battles.
Begin by making a list of activities for each room and items used for
those activities. You can move furniture and items around on a scale
drawing before doing any heavy lifting. This way, you can save time
and effort, and change your mind several times all while sipping
coffee. Once you move furniture into its new location, you can add
items that are used in each room. Then, you can consider your storage
needs for those items.
Moving isn’t easy. Most of us move in, place things were it is convenient
at the time, then struggle with poor storage solutions and misplaced
items. When you really consider how each room functions, you can
place items where they will be used.
Focus on perfectly placed. Items should be easy to find, easy to
use and easy to put away. This single idea will keep your home
clutter-free by making it fast and convenient to routinely straighten up
rooms

This post wonderfully captures the essence of adapting content to resonate with the diverse cultural landscape of the United States. It's essential to understand and respect the unique nuances of different regions and communities. As someone who navigates these complexities daily, especially in academic settings, I can attest to the importance of this approach. For instance, as a statistics class taker, I've seen firsthand how tailored content can enhance engagement and understanding. By appreciating cultural differences, we can create more inclusive and effective learning environments. visit for more information https://www.takemyclasscourse.com/take-my-statistics-class/
